I did not turn my invoice in because......

I take all invoices with cash in the house so no one takes it. I took in the house and I'll bring it in tomorrow.

I was going to to turn it, but I could not find the receipt of the part I bought, and I wanted to make sure I turned it in all at once. Office:  Really, I bet the invoice had cash on it and you spent it and now you're waiting till payday.  Of course I got my invoice 2 days later with 1/2 the cash missing because he says he needed to buy a part but did not turn a receipt in.  Oppise, I guess I see a payroll deduction coming!

I left it on the counter at home. Office: Okay, so why did it leave your clipboard in the first place?  Hmm.... another cash invoice

It's under my seat in my car because it had cash on it and I didn't want it to fall out of my clipboard. 

Since the invoice had cash on it, I brought it into my house and wanted to make sure I didn't loose it..... Office: Yeah, and you wanted to make sure we didn't catch it?

Do you see a common theme yet?  It's always the CASH invoices that turn up missing.  If you're a technician just remember that we are always one step a head of you and we know when an invoice is not turned in! Just bring it in unless you really don't care about your job.
