Why is the police calling the office looking for you?

I'm on probation.

Umm, police, what do you mean? No reason. I'll call my wife to see what is going on-- HELLO,  it was your wife that called the police on you!

I got into an accident and I'm following the car that left the scene.

My wife is mad at me and is going to file for divorce, so she's just impersonating the officer when calling in. Trust me! No one is looking for me.
